Time For Me To Try Out Dove Original and Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit & Lemongrass and Dove Cucumber & Green Tea!
Hi there lovelies, I hope you are doing well! Today I’m going to be giving you my honest review on Dove Original and Dove Go Fresh Deodorants. I’m so excited to do this review because to me deodorant is a necessity and I have been using more perfume fragranced deodorants for the longest time but I thought it’s time for a switch and I’ve been hearing amazing things about these deodorants made by Dove and now here I am trying them out and I’m going to give you my honest review!
Let’s start off with talking about these products one by one, starting off with the Dove Original and after that we will talk about the Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit & Lemongrass and lastly, the Dove Go Fresh Cucumber and Green Tea.
The Dove Original was created with the intent to provide 48 hour sweat and odour protection as well as providing protection against underarm wetness and odour. It is also said to care for the underarm skin by keeping it moisturised and help reduce irritation to the underarm skin! They created it with a subtle scent in order to keep you feeling clean. This is what Dove had intended when creating this deodorant and now it’s time for me to tell you what I think of this product and if it is in line with what dove had in mind when they created this product.
My Review:
So, my take on the Dove Original is that it’s an amazing deodorant and it truly does the job that it was created to do! I love how subtle the scent is and how it really did keep my underarms moisturised, another thing to note is that the scent really sticks and it doesn’t just disappear! So, in that case this deodorant definitely passes in my book!
The Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit & Lemongrass, once again this deodorant was created with the intention to provide 48 hour sweat and odour protection as well as providing protection against underarm wetness and odour. It is also said to care for the underarm skin by keeping it moisturised and help reduce irritation to the underarm skin! But unlike the subtle scent that the Dove Original was created for the Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit & Lemongrass was created with the revitalising scent of citrus lemongrass and grapefruit fragrance. I was really excited to try and test out this product because I’ve always loved anything with that citrus scent and I guess now is the time for me to tell you about my experience using this product!

Wow, this one smells absolutely amazing! For the past 11 years I lived in Fort Beaufort which if you don’t know is citrus all around and when I smelt this deodorant it definitely reminded me of home and yes that’s one of the reasons I love it so much but another reason would definitely be is, you know when deodorants damage clothing sometimes when you spray them, this one definitely doesn’t do that! It’s so protective to your clothing but even more than that it really does protect your skin, so between this one and the next one it’s a fight to see which one is at the top of my list for right now!
And lastly, we have the Dove Go Fresh Cucumber and Green Tea that once again was created in order to provide 48 hour sweat and odour protection as well as providing protection against underarm wetness and odour. It is also said to care for the underarm skin by keeping it moisturised and help reduce irritation to the underarm skin! Now, this has one very interesting scent the combination of Cucumber and Green Tea. Another thing to be noted is that this deodorant contains 0% of alcohol and ¼ moisturising cream. And now that you now what Dove had in mind when creating this product, I’m going to tell you all about my experience with the product!

Okay, so you know when you see a deodorant advert on tv and it’s all light and airy and you think to yourself oh that looks so fresh, or you know on a hot day an ice cold coke in a glass bottles just hits different well that it what this deodorant smells and feels like! It leaves you smelling fresher than ever while is keep your underarms smooth and moisturised and that comes from the ¼ of moisturising cream in the deodorant! I honestly love this one and like I said in my previous review on the Dove Go Fresh Grapefruit & Lemongrass these two are both sitting at number one in my book!
